IGNITE is a collaborative initiative, funded by a We Prosper Together Grant, to develop an inclusive, employer-informed manufacturing training program for young adults in disinvested communities across the Capital Region. Led by Green Tech and Aura Planning, with support from SVMA, Capital College & Career Academy, and Roseville Precision, the project combines employer engagement and community outreach to co-design a high-impact curriculum and pilot a technical manufacturing training program. IGNITE serves as a blueprint for short-term technical training and long-term economic mobility, empowering young people to become the next generation of leaders in precision manufacturing.
